Mbedthis AppWeb Download Images -- Step 3
For production purposes, it is recommended that you download the latest stable AppWeb release. If you want to explore the latest new features, you may wish to try the development release which is not recommended for production purposes.
Pre-built binary installs for AppWeb are available for Linux on Intel x86-32 and Windows x68-32. If you want to run AppWeb on another architecture, download the cross-platform source code and build from source.
Download Image Formats
The Mbedthis AppWeb install distribution for LINUX is published in two formats
- RPM Package with a .rpm extension (recommended)
- Manual Self-Installs (.ZIP)
The Mbedthis AppWeb Server install distribution for Windows is published in one format
- Windows Install executable with a EXE.ZIP extension
The download images include the binary distribution, samples and documentation. In the stable release the source code is also included. In the development release, the source code is a separate download.

Development Release -- AppWeb 1.1.3
This is a development release that is not suitable for use in production environments. It is used to test new features and may not run reliably. The development release is packaging the source code separately from the binary distribution
Cross-Platform Source Code
The source code has been ported to several operating systems including: Linux, Windows, Mac OSX and Solaris. It supports many architectures including: ARM7, MIPS32, i386/X86, PowerPC and Sparc. If your desired operating system or CPU is not on the list, let us know and we may be able to help you port the source code.

Development Prebuilt Binaries
These images include the binary installation, documentation and samples. The large size is due to the PHP libraries still containing symbol tables. This will be addressed in the final release.
